Convener's Briefing
Health is a about a complete state of mental, physical and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. The role of the Health Campaign Group is to represent the views of young people on health related issues affecting them within the Highland region. This year, the group has decided to focus on mental and sexual health, as these are both issues that affect today’s youth. This will be approached with the assistance of BROOK, the Terrence Higgins Trust and various other charities and organisations. We will also be seeking to make sexual health education compulsory from second year and above within secondary schools.
